We are so excited to be co-hosting a Makers Alongside event with Madewell on Thursday, September 11th.  All of our current Makers Alongside pieces will be available for purchase.

We are also thrilled that Jon Wipfli from The Minnesota Spoon and Erik Eastman from Easy & Oskey will be joining us to serve great food and great drinks.  You do not want to miss what these two have to offer :)

Cheers, to the sweet ladies at Hackwith!  Wish I could attend!  Prairie Fire might be my favorite scent I’ve created!  Definitely worth checking this out if you’re in the area!

Holiday Wishes : Part One

It’s been so long since I’ve made a post that I almost forgot how! I’ve been preetttty busy teaching the kiddos & working at the shop on the weekends - but it seems fitting to get back into the swing of things on the biggest shopping day of the year.  Two of my biggest wants are a great pair of leather flats & a great big leather bag.  Two things that I can wear to my ol’ ball & chain of a job & about town.  The bags are from YVNLeather & the beautiful leather flats are made by A.B.K.  I think the first bag might be a little present from me to me this season!

Drawn in by the beautiful photos and then completely inspired by this great interview on design consultant, Tracy Wilkinson.  Always a good time over at Freunde von Freunden.

imageI’m excited to share that Na Nin Vintage is going to be available in a brick & mortar shop right here in Richmond, VA.  Myself and a few other vintage sellers & curators of handmade lines have collaborated to open the shop, Addison Handmade & Vintage - located across from Lamplighter Roasting Company.  Cody & I are set to leave for South America on Monday, so we will probably be missing the grand opening - but that doesn’t mean you should miss out!  If you’re in the area please come by and see what we are up to.  Here is a sneak peak of a few treasures that Na Nin will be selling in the shop.

Big thanks to Campfire & Co. for designing our tags!

New To Na Nin : Camouflage

If you’ve been looking for that perfect camouflage jacket to throw over when the nights get a little cooler, you’ll be sure to find one in the shop.

Need a leather jacket? Yes, yes you do.

I love this lady in her black vans, white tee & black leather jacket.  Luckily, we have an amazing leather jacket for sale at the shop that you could throw on and have this simple, cool look.   Thanks, Lucy for making everything look so perfect.

Ready For A Wedding

The past few months I’ve been searching for the perfect dress to wear to our friends’ wedding that we attended yesterday.  I was so happy when I came across this dress by Willow Knows.  I can’t thank Jess (the designer/owner of Willow Knows) enough for sending me this beauty just in time for the special occasion.   <3  To make the outfit complete I matched it with vintage leather sandals I found at a consignment shop in NY with these earrings by Rare Bird, and this cuff by Eometrie. - both beautiful jewelry lines created right here in Richmond, VA.

Very taken with the jewelry brand, Bario-Neal.  Started in 2007 and based out of Philadelphia by designers, Anna Bario & Page Neal -  the jewelry is handcrafted with ethically sourced stones, reclaimed metals, while using environmentally conscious practices.  A beautiful brand that you can be proud to purchase from.

One of my best friends & I went to Iceland at the end of March through the first week of April.  I definitely wish I had more time there, but am definitely grateful that I got a little taste of this beautiful country.  Waterfall after waterfall, hike after hike, glacier after glacier … it was the land of never-ending amazement.  Here are some film pics from my trip and I’ll be adding to my photography blog soon.  A lot of these pics and other pictures from my travels are featured in my photography exhibit, NEAR/FAR at Community Collective.  (Big thanks to everyone who came out last week!)
